Recording With KODIAK // Day Map

This was a poster assignment for AP1 where we needed to document our activities over a several day period and create a map sharing our experiences throughout that time. My map documents the experience of recording an album with my band Kodiak over a several day time frame.I illustrated these events by creating goofy cartoon doodles, to add humor and fun to the poster. This is to signify the crazy, wild experience of recording in a metal band. The black illustrations are placed upon a crumpled-paper texture to give reference to the amount of down time we had between recording instruments. I often would draw goofy cartoons all over the lyric shits while waiting to record vocals.
