Scratch and Tape Type Quote Poster

A typographic quote poster created out of hand treated type. For my type I used shredded paper and tape to utilize within a poster design. This project was created for my Image Making class at UMSL. The design is a combination of some of my skull illustrations, composed in a layout with a soft background texture to further the grungy texture of the poster. The type is placed within the space between the two skulls and where the texture breaks into a black background. The quote, which looks destructive, contrasts from the dark background and pops a long with the bright colored skulls.
